Sebastian Jimenez

Lost Shore Surf Resort team member.

Sebastian is a very passionate surfer and skateboarder.

Originally from Punta del Este, Uruguay, then in 2016 Sebastian chose Edinburgh as his new home with his wife Laura and his son Mateo.
The beautiful corners of Scotland with its icy waves made Sebastian discover a new way of experiencing surfing which rejuvenated his passion for the sport and awakened a deep interest in the culture of the local scene. One of his characteristics is being a very active surfer in and out of the water.

More than 20 years of experience as a lifeguard and surf coach, combined with many years as a sponsored surfer and skateboarder, plus years of experience working with surfshops and different brands, Sebastian knew how to find his place in the Lost Shore Surf Resort project 6 years ago.
He founded The Surfskate Academy three years ago which has been a huge success and has helped him to contribute to the Scottish surfing community.
